After School Tutoring

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM:

Salam Academy is reinventing our After School Program to provide better services to our students. We will divide our current Aftercare program into three distinct programs to serve the needs of all the students at Salam Academy.

Day-Care to Pre-K
Monday - Thursday
Pick-up time
5pm - 5:15pm: $5/child
5:15pm - 6pm: $10/child
6pm and after: $15/hour/child
charges above stagger.

KG to 8t.h Grade
Monday - Thursday
Pick-up time
4pm - 5pm: $5/child
5pm - 5:15pm: $5/child
5:15pm - 6pm: $10/child
6pm and after: $15/hour/child
charges above stagger.

Day-Care to 8th Grade
Friday (ECEP):
Pick-up time
1pm - 2pm: $5/child
2pm - 4pm: $10/hour/child
4pm and after: $15/hour/child
charges above stagger

The options for After School Programs are listed below:

1. Tutoring. We will provide afterschool tutoring to students who need help in specific areas The following is the schedule for Tutoring.
 

• Monday - Elementary Reading/Middle School Math
• Tuesday - Elementary Math/Middle School Reading
• Wednesday - Arabic

Each tutoring session will have no more than 5 students in the class. The cost for each session is $5 and must be scheduled and paid in advance to insure that that there is space in the class for your student. Tutoring will be from 4 pm - 5 pm.

2. Homework Club. We will provide a space for your child to do his homework with teacher supervision and help. There will not be more than 6 students in a classroom. The cost for each session is $5 and must be scheduled and paid in advance to insure that there is space in the class for your student. Homework club will be held Monday - Thursday from 4 pm - 5 pm.

3. Childcare.

Both tutoring and homework club are available to to all students grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. Students who take part in these are required to pay attention and follow teacher directions. Students who cannot follow these rules will be moved to childcare.
